NOTE: Starting on July 1st 2020, Alqueria de Rosales is open to the public. Our facilities are ready to receive visitors. Travellers must cunsult the travel and lockdown regulations of their own country and Spain at the moment of the travel. In our facilities, visitors have to follow minimal sanitary requirements like wearing a mask, keeping social distance, and washing regularly their hands.

The closest airports to Alqueria de Rosales are Alicante, Murcia and Granada, all approximately two hours drive away. Malaga airport is approximately three hours drive. Taxi fares from these airports start at around €200. There are also options by bus and train for travel from various airports, including Madrid, to Alqueria de Rosales or nearby, and we are happy to advise on these details.
For courses arrangements and if a number of people are flying to one of airports, the center may also be able to arrange a minibus or coach pick up to reduce per capita transport costs. In this case we always recommend to fly to Alicante airport.
If you are planning to drive to Alqueria de Rosales please bear in mind the following.
Alqueria de Rosales is about 4.5 hours by car from Madrid, 2 hours approximately by car from Granada, Alicante or Murcia. It is 5 km away from the small village of Puebla de Don Fadrique.
On arriving in Puebla de Don Fadrique take the direction to Collados de la Sagra, Carretera de La Losa road. After 3 km you will find a single lane road to the right with a big stone entrance. This leads to Alqueria de Rosales. When you reach the first property on the left continue through the gate into Rosales and you will see the venue and the mosque.
If you are using Google Maps search for ‘Fundaction Cultural Azzahra – Alqueria de Rosales’ (Google has not yet corrected the spelling).
If you are travelling from outside Europe (Schengen Area) and require an invitation letter for a visa application please let us know. Please note, in order to comply with regulations we are only able to provide these letters for fully paid attendees. In the event that your visa application is unsuccessful, we will give a full refund.
